RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICIES
Returns may be made in person at any of our Hippototamus shops or through the mail.
We want you to be completely satisified with your order. If you are not satisfied for any reason, we will gladly accept returns and/or exchanges providing that the items have not been worn or washed, and the tags are still intact. Shipping charges are not refundable. Please see Sale Merchandise Return Policy for all Sale and Final Sale Merchandise.
Returns/Exchanges made in a Hippototamus Shop
Any Hippotots.com merchandise purchased online may be returned at our Hippototamus shops.
Our Hippototamus shops can only provide you with a Store Credit or exchange of merchandise. If you want a credit to be used toward future online hippotots.com purchases, you must ship the merchandise back.
PLEASE NOTE: Gift Recipients or merchandise that is returned without a receipt to our Hippototamus Shops, will only receive a Store Credit that can only be used in our Hippototamus shops.
Credit will be issued for your original purchase price when returned within 21 days of purchase.
Credit for the current selling price will be issued for all returns that are made beyond 21 days from the original purchase date. The purchase date for all online Hippotots.com purchases is the date that the transaction was processed. Returns without a Receipt
Returns without a receipt will only be issued in the form of a credit or merchandise exchange at the current selling price. Valid identification is required for all returns and exchanges without an original receipt or to receive or redeem a store credit. Valid identification includes driver's license, military ID, state/province issued ID or passport.
E-Certificates and Store Credits
E-Certificates are online e-mailed gift certificates that are additionally issues as online merchandise credits. E-Certificates can only be redeemed/applied toward Hippotots.com online purchases.
Store Credits are only issued in Hippototamus shops, and can only be redeemed/applied toward purchases in our Hippototamus Shops.
All forms of credit are valid in the country of issuance only.
Hippototamus is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged Store Credits or any lost or deleted E-Certificates.
All Store Credits and E-Certificates are valid for one (1) year from date of issue.
RETURNS/EXCHANGES MADE BY MAIL
Merchandise purchased online may also be returned to Hippotots.com via mail. On the front of your packing slip (enclosed with your purchase), note the reason(s) for return. As per Hippotots.com return policy, you will promptly receive the applicable refund or e-certificate. Enclose your packing slip with the item and ship, prepaid and insured, to:

Then place your merchandise and completed form in a box, secure it, and for returns shipped within the United States, affix the pre-paid postage label that came with the merchandise. We will e-mail you a receipt when a credit to your credit card or e-certificate has been issued. Merchandise exchanges are only available at Hippototamus Stores.
Sale and Final Clearance Merchandise Policies
Sale Merchandise Policy
Please note that Sale merchandise must be exchanged within 21 days of the date of purchase and is non-refundable. Sale merchandise may be exchanged in any Hippototamus store or you may mail it back for a merchandise credit in the form of an e-certificate.
Final Clearance Policy
Final clearance sales are final. We cannot accept returns or exchanges. All final clearance items are sold "as-is".
Price Adjustments
Prices are subject to change. We offer a one-time (single order) refund or adjustment for items purchased within 14 days of a price adjustment. This EXCLUDES all Sale Items, Temporary Special Promotional Items, and Final Clearance items. For questions and adjustments call: 1-(877) hippotots or, 1-(877)447-7686.
We work hard to ensure the accuracy of pricing on Hippotots.com, but despite our best efforts, pricing errors may occur.
- If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge you the lower amount when your order is shipped.
- If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, contact you for instructions before shipping. If we are unable to contact you after 14 days we will cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
